Visuals, Territoires Electroniques (2005)
Live visuals for NYC veteran DJ Francois K (literally one of the fathers of house music), at the Territoires Electroniques festival in Aix-en-Provence, France. Equal care had been taken with the booking of musical and visual performers (visuals curated by Dalbin), which meant that it was really a showcase for VJ culture. The venue was rigged for projection inside and out, with video shown projected on the outside of the Fondation Vasarely building as well as inside the hectic, damp auditorium. The ElectroPlastique projection piece was also on display.
The southern French audience more than lived up to their reputation for hedonism, and an excellent time was had by all. Thanks to Eric, Julia, Joie and the other artists...
